Simpler Bible isn't just a project – it's a mission. Born over tacos and fueled by a shared passion for quality biblical teaching, Ryan and Colin embarked on a journey to demystify the Scriptures and make Bible study accessible to all.
No funding? No problem.
Ryan, a bi-vocational pastor and artist, joined forces with Colin – the jack-of-all-trades, from photography to film production, web design to 3d printing. With their diverse skill sets and shared vision, they set out to create content that resonates deeply with seekers and believers alike.
But here's the truth: Simpler Bible isn't a side gig. It's a labor of love, undertaken without the safety net of organizational backing. Your support means everything to us. As we pour our hearts and souls into each episode, we're striving to raise $150 per installment to cover expenses and provide a modest compensation for our efforts.

Ryan Dalgliesh

Ryan is the teaching pastor at The Four 56 church in San Angelo, Texas. Ryan started the church with his friend, Micah Mariano, in 2009, and they are joined in leadership by Pierce Love. Ryan has been in ministry since 1997, when he started speaking at camps, retreats, and revivals.
He is a dedicated student of the Scripture and finds he is learning it daily "a little bit better than yesterday." Ryan's love of Scripture was initially inspired when he read the autobiography of George Muller in 1995. George managed to read the Bible over 200 times before he died, which stirred up a passion for the Bible in Ryan's heart.
Ryan cohosts a weekly podcast with Pierce and Micah called Simpler, where they discuss various theological and cultural topics through the lens of the gospel. He previously wrote and self-published six books no longer in print, but he has ambitions to write again and pursue publishing.
Ryan is also a talented artist specializing in acrylic painting and has sold art across the United States since 2015. You can find his art on Instagram at ConversAndCanvas or on his website.
Simpler Bible started as a project he wanted to create to help his boys develop a deeper understanding of the Bible. Colin suggested they produce videos, and here we are.

From producing and shooting films to shooting commercial projects for both local and national companies, Colin's portfolio is as diverse as it is impressive.
His expertise lies in photography and lighting, but Colin's talents know no bounds. A self-proclaimed jack of all trades, he's dabbled in everything from live event production to social media management and web design. An engineer at heart, Colin's ingenuity knows no limits, whether he's building his own drone, experimenting with 3D printing, or embarking on outdoor adventures with his beloved wife and dog by his side.
